Leon County Existing Home Sales, Prices Rebound in April

Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county increased 26.1% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 319 single-family home resales in April 2018 and 253 resales in April 2019. Last month there were 252 existing single-family homes sold.

The average sales price in April 2019 increased 5.9% to $261,280 from $246,624 one year ago.

Annual trends show that single-family home sales increased to an annual rate of 3,030 in March, up from the 2,964 reported last month. The annual rate of sales is now 4.1% below the annual rate of 3,161 reported a year ago.

The average price of homes sold over the last twelve months in Leon county was $263,931. This is 7.2% above the $246,142 sales price reported one year ago.
