Existing Home Sales Continue Downward Trend in March

Sales of existing single-family homes in Leon county decreased 16.6% when compared to numbers sold in the same month one year ago. There were 302 single-family home resales in March 2018 and 252 resales in March 2019. Last month there were 201 existing single-family homes sold.

The average sales price in March 2019 decreased 5.6% to $243,964 from $258,430 one year ago.

Annual trends show that single-family home sales decreased to an annual rate of 2,964 in March, down from the 3,014 reported last month. The annual rate of sales is now 7.1% below the annual rate of 3,191 reported a year ago.

The average price of homes sold over the last twelve months in Leon county was $262,739. This is 7.1% above the $245,238 sales price reported one year ago.
